Description: Marked spheroidal growths on a limonite matrix, with a deep olive-green color and a greasy luster. The back of the piece is completely covered by an enveloping layer of ocher-colored limonite. The specimen comes from the famous find of November 2011, in which Mottramite was reported for the first time in Mapimí as a collector-quality species.
