Locality: Xuebaoding, Huya Village, Pingwu County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, China.

This is a specimen commonly known as the " Pandanite ", about 9.5 cm wide, from  Xuebaoding mine, China. The " Pandanite" was found around 2002 in Xuebaoding mine, Pingwu. As this mineral specimen had never been found before, it was considered a new mineral and was planned to be named after the national treasure of Sichuan, the panda. The name " Pandanite " also circulated for a period of time. However, through further research, it was found that the green mineral on the surface is Mushistonite, and the black mineral be covered inside is Kesterite, which is not a new mineral. However, such mineral association is very rare, and the color and shape of the crystal are also unique. It is not an exaggeration to call this mineral the rare " panda", and the meaning expressed by the common term " Pandanite " in this career is also just right! This specimen contains numerous " Pandanite" crystals that aggregated on muscovite matrix. The contrast between the pale green crystals and the gray white matrix is prominent, and the geometric edges of the " Pandanite" crystals are very obvious. The coverage area of the crystals is more large, rare find top quality of this specie! The first choice for professional collectors!
